i take it you havent seen a heatexchange before. by the way while the panel is of the blower moter is not running normally. Amps will be high and air flow will be low…..
Yes, I seen a hx before, but we found the problem anyway. It turns out since the ceilings were high in the playground, the heat would not come down. So we had to turn on the ceiling fans on in order for everything to work like it did before.
Tighten up that belt and replace them filters boy!
if its a 48*j unit check the belt they had a problem with the motor mounting plate it was flexing through the blower out of wack hsg is 3pcs very loud
why are the tubes all dented like that ?
that problem is a crack in the heat exchanger…there was a roll out of the flame
Needs a new foofoo valve
wats that?
lol its a joke,,same as if u running pipes and no where to put a bracket ,then you need a sky hook lol..Carrier great stuff ,strong rugged ,but the wiring is a mess.Trane better for wiring.Large chillers any way..worked in middle east ,mainly carrier ,great chillers..Freidrich and zamil too ,that stuff not so good.oh carrier flo tronics very good.we had 125 ton chillers,in 10 yrs never changed a compressor..just the wiring lol,its a mess…
The dents help to slow down the flue gasses and allow them more time to stay in contact with the metal exchanger. This increases heat transfer and thus efficiency. They also – to a lesser extent – increase the surface area of the exchanger tube and again increase efficiency.

If there are cracks or holes in the heat exchanger, replace it!
